The brief
Selling a product as a service
Isn’t it all about personalisation? And who wouldn’t like to have this convenience, right out of the box? Well that’s what the ‘Dynamic Configuration Service’ was all about – an innovative concept by a multinational information technology firm, currently ranked among the top ten in the world, that aimed to bring tailored solutions to their customers. And for the same, they wanted to ideate a story. A story that would convey how these customised solutions would benefit the corporate, enterprise and public sector, through a step-by-step process.
The solution
A unique (associative) selling proposition
An animation video supported by a comprehensive narrative, that accented the key selling points in a way that would strike an instant connect with the customer. Depicting everyday concerns that customers would identify with, the video ideation culminated to how this concept of dynamic solutioning would unravel these issues, saving them time, cost and increasing workforce productivity.
The product
Detailed and distinctive
A contemporary look-and-feel was developed to befit the brand identity. The character designs were sleek, modern and featured intricacies such as diversity of ethnicity, gender and physical structures, that made them highly relatable. Background layouts had minute ornamenting like desk objects, computer cables and gift bows to depict new laptops, bringing delight. Character animation was realistic, and meticulously detailed, creating interest and engagement.
My contribution
Bringing it to life
Built a vibrant, stylised video that brought the out of the box service experience to life, through rich character animation, and smooth transitions. A story telling the tale of customer customisation, lending itself towards a beautiful, engaging, educative selling material. Comprehensive, comprehensible and most essentially, connecting.
